Felicity Jones. | |
[rs=2] | Full name: Chara Koenig. Formerly Nicolaides. Position: Camper. Although actually in the secret group that heads the camp. Height: 5'5" Weight: 134lbs. Personality: To everyone else, Chara can be an understanding person. She listens, she cares. She can be quite friendly when she wants to be, and she can smile when she wants. Although it is all faked. People see what she wants them to see. And it is rare for them to see her act otherwise. Only a select few have the privilege to see what the real Chara Koenig is like. What helps with this is Chara's exaggerated secrecy. She can't stand for people to know lots about her. After all, there's only the one person that knows officially of Chara's marital state. Not that the wedding ring she still wears doesn't give it away. In actual fact, though, Chara is as dangerous as the others in Category A. She's a Spartan, and a former huntress. Fighting skills come naturally to her. And she finds it unfortunate now that she can't walk around asking every other demigod for a spar. But that's how she helped design the camp to be like. Nevertheless, with her husband's influence, Chara slowly became more and more of a bloodthirsty murderer. Only difference being, Chara always put effort into covering up the deaths so that they could never be traced back to her. In addition to her granted immortality, Chara's ego only continued to increase in size. When with James or any other member in the special group, she acts like how she normally is. Feeling somewhat sly, powerful and always holding a small smirk on her lips. The topic of love is something that can break her down, though. If not obviously, then it is still happening within her. Bringing up Wolfgang, the fact that she wears a wedding ring, or even her last name can spark memories that cause her to hide somewhere and release her emotions in private. After all, she strongly believes that his leaving her was due to the fact that he fell out of love with her. Which is from the source of her overthinking. It's not actual fact. She just wanted an explanation for it. Immortal parent: Apollo. Claimed?: Yes. Mortal parent: Aigle Nicolaides. Other relatives: Wolfgang Koenig. Husband. History: Back in Ancient Sparta, there lived a woman named Aigle Nicolaides. To call her beautiful and/or sexy would have been a major understatement. And she was strong, too. With these attributes, Aigle had a reputation that made her so well-known among nearly all other Spartan men. She was provocative. They say she had a different man every night. Of course, this meant the amount of children she had was far from few. Seeing as contraception didn't really exist back then. Nevertheless, such a reputation could not go unnoticed. It wasn't long before the god Apollo wanted in on it. He approached her when she was out hunting, and soon the two got to making love. All on the same night. Aigle never saw Apollo again, but that didn't matter. To her he was just another man. A nameless man, even. He didn't give a name to her. He was just another that had left her pregnant. And nine months later, Aigle gave birth to Chara. But there was something different to this daughter than of the others. And she came to realize this over time. Chara was stronger than the others (even in comparison to the boys), but she was secretive and found it incredibly difficult to trust. She could keep a secret and could be trusted. In addition to this, she never felt the love or compassion her siblings could. Her emotions were always under control, and most of the time... her smiles were fake. At the age of 16, she was sick of love. Her mother had, by now, several other children added to the list, and continued to be provocative. And whilst out hunting for her family, Chara stumbled across another woman. She wore a short tunic, and her hair tied back. Chara could immediately recognize the figure so many other women worshiped. This was Artemis, goddess of the hunt. At once, she bowed before her, feeling utterly privileged to be in her presence. And Artemis offered her a choice. Artemis desperately needed a position to be filled. A young maiden, to be granted all the powers of a huntress, but to be her spy and locate herself cleverly during any future events. Or to remain as a Spartan, living the life she currently did. And so, until the 20th century, Chara hid herself discreetly in high positions (even if it meant being a lowly servant) in most major historical events (usually if this event took place near to where Olympus was at the time). During the early 1900s, Chara moved into Camp Half Blood. Chara claimed to be an unclaimed demigod, and lived in the Hermes cabin along with the others. That was until Hitler became chancellor of Germany. So Chara was sent in. For the period of 1933-1942, Chara went under the name "Liesel Adler". She moved around the country, and joined various Hitler Youth organizations (the young German maidens). She would exclaim about how her father was always called on business, and soon managed to learn the trust of the various leaders of the Hitler Youth groups. Of course, being a woman uninterested in reproduction, it was difficult for her to get much information. But it was always going to be more than Artemis ever could. And so, each time she moved, Chara(Liesel) would gain the trust of the group leader and hence find out certain information. It was from then, that she learned the supposed reasons for the night of the long knives and kristalnacht. All disheartening occasions, but nevertheless, questions Artemis desired answers to. In 1942, Chara fled Germany under the word of Artemis. Demigods were starting to battle one another, and Artemis believed Chara too special to lose in a battle like this. So Chara fled to America, and returned to the camp specially for demigods. Artemis left her there, promising that she would return should she need another spy. But for now, Chara was to watch the other demigods in case something should happen that could once again spark the interest of the gods. She watched the demigods live their lives, and had still not been able to drop the ability to manipulate others into trusting her. A few men even did develop a love for her, from this trust, which was soon diminished when she continuously turned them away. That was until she met Wolfgang Koenig for the second time. It didn't take long for her to lose her ability to keep away from love as she began to feel a connection towards the son of Poseidon, and eventually falling for him also. With this, she broke her oath to the goddess Artemis as she committed her life to a loving relationship which she hoped to continue until "death do [they] part." It was all going so well at first. Their relationship progressed. First engagement, then marriage. The two even spoke of raising a family together. They were both so deeply in love. There was nothing that could even match the strength of their love. But something shattered inside Chara when Wolfgang disappeared with no notice. Her heart felt too hollow. So broken. Chara was alone. And as time passed, she started to change. Now, although she became more secretive - hiding her emotions to the best of her abilities, she also started to become a little like her husband had been. Which she found strangely comforting. She began to adopt certain habits of his. Including the attraction for the taste of blood. Etc etc. When it came to murder, Chara was ruthless. But she was also secretive. Acting so well that it was virtually impossible to trace anything back to her. When Camp Half-Blood was wiped out, Chara found herself completely alone. And when occasionally stumbling across stray demigods, some of which dangerous ones, a thought occurred in her mind. What if there was a new camp? A controlled one. In which case, she and whoever else helped her do so would hold incredible strength what with such dangerous demigods being controlled and monitored to their liking. One by one, Chara started to search and gather various individuals for this group. Whilst on her travels, taking the current few members of the group with her, she met with a god who approved of the idea and helped to back it. It was Dionysus. The former director of Camp Half-Blood. In exchange for their running this new Camp, he granted each of them immortality. Before leaving and enjoying his newly found freedom. She then continued to search for special individuals. All until she bumped into James Giordano, a former staff member of the late Camp Half-Blood. The idea in her mind just progressed, and so she proposed the idea of the new camp to him. And how he would be used throughout the whole process of it. Which he did. It wasn't long before Camp Reborn was built. And with the other members of this group, Chara helped to head it. As dangerous as she potentially was, she knew how to keep quiet. After all, she had worked as a spy for two thousand years. Nevertheless, she still hides among the other demigods. Pretending to be someone she isn't. Pretending to be weaker than she actually is and hiding her habits incredibly well. And it has been like that to this very day. |
