She lacks care for others and understanding of various situations, meaning she doesn't sympathize. Reasoning with her is completely out of the question. She loathes Category A children. The more dangerous a child is, the more objective her beliefs towards them. She is not easily manipulated and if she sees a Category A child do something wrong in the slightest, it's straight into isolation for them. In a nutshell, she is conceited herself. And strict. She sees no one more important than herself and takes pride in her position as a director. She doesn't like allowing insights and ideas from other people and prefers to organize things herself. With her strict nature, she knows what to say and how to get people to do what she wants. Catelyn is powerful. Both verbally and physically. She certainly isn't afraid to fight in order to get her own way, and especially with her being a daughter of Zeus... it isn't necessarily difficult for her to win. It's a bit different for children of Zeus, however. Catelyn finds herself preferring those demigods over the others. Although any Category A child of Zeus is likely to receive the same treatment as other Category A children. Catelyn would never beat around the bush and is blunt with her choice of words. She takes offense if anyone says anything against her or her position as director. It would take a lot for anyone to see a softer side of Catelyn, but perhaps that is merely a side only a loved one might see. Even still, it might take a while for her to have such feelings towards anyone. But when it comes to love, who knows what might happen? Immortal parent: Zeus. Claimed?: Yes. Mortal parent: Suzanne Potter. Other relatives: History: Suzanne Potter was an American politician, aiming high. She was a strict military-like woman, but she was firm on the idea that she could one day, be president. So she was a hard worker. There was hardly ever a moment when someone could catch her not working. There... was only one night that caught her out. She was frequently being told that she needed some time off. She didn't stop. She needed the break. So, with a few of her old school friends, she went out to a bar and had a drink. When she was there, she started to talk to a man who knew exactly who she was. He said he appreciated and loved her need for power, which was how he saw it, and respected her for it. By the end of the night, they were in the same bed. Nine months later, Suzanne certainly had cause to regret that evening off work. As it had impregnated her, and she had given birth to a baby girl without any problems (something she had actually been hoping for). The baby girl she called Catelyn Pandora and she raised the girl in a peculiar way. Whatever Catelyn did as a toddler, Suzanne never gave a shit. She could be easily in trouble for whatever she did and eventually, at a suitable age, Catelyn sent her child to a private school in order to get her out of her hair. Throughout her childhood, Catelyn attended these private schools during the school semesters and eventually also military camps during the summer. To call her childhood strict would have been a major understatement. However, at the age of sixteen, Catelyn was claimed by Zeus. Soon after this, her scent had started to attract monsters and had caused satyrs to find her and tell her of some other camp. The first, she refused and carried on life as normal. She didn't care who her father was. But when the second came, she became convinced that it was important that she go. She started to comprehend the danger she was in and thus left with the satyr for this new camp. When she was at camp, Catelyn tended to train a lot. When with people, she didn't get on so well. And she was always strict to the rules. If she saw someone breaking a rule, rather than acting like a snitch... she would make a bargain with the rule breaker. Catelyn just liked to win. In as many situations as she could. When Catelyn reached her early twenties, she was promoted to a counselor and helped with the every day running of the camp. Being able to, now, enforce the rules herself. Something she adored. When the fall of Camp Half-Born occurred, Catelyn fought as much as she could. When she knew there was no longer any point, she fled. She spent her time wandering around, not ever so sure about what to do with herself. She looked for jobs in the military but responses weren't immediate, and Catelyn wasn't especially living in a particular home. . She managed to come across a few demigods and at the mention of a new Camp, of which they were told about by satyrs, Catelyn promptly made her way and signed up as a monitor. Catelyn spent a while as a monitor at the camp, remaining strict for Category A campers. She hated them and at any excuse she could get, she would put them straight into isolation. Catelyn was a powerful woman. She had a way with words and a way with her powers as a daughter of the king of the gods. So when James Giordano abdicated as director, Catelyn immediately stepped in. Putting down anyone that tried to get ahead of her. At first, the Founders had accepted it. A powerful woman would be a good director. But she wasn't going to listen to them. And now she had the power, she wasn't going to lose it. |
